I grew up with dogs and cats, but work demands ruled out keeping a dog until ten years ago. About ten yeas ago, I felt I could bring another animal into my life. I met Buffy, a friends ten year old Bichon Frise and later adopted him. Buffy had a great life in his remaining years before he went to dog heaven. Once you have a dog, it becomes difficult to be without one. The dog I have now, my companion, Sophie, is a six year old Chocolate Lab and she is well known and loved by my neighbors and by all that meet her. She is a tennis ball chuckit retriever and a kiddy pool hog. She also loves the river and snow and she goes with me to Mt Hood while I snowboard at Timberline. I will work with you in the care of your most loyal companion and member of your family to supplement the attention your dog or cat deserves while you are away at work or other activities that demand you be away. I will be there to take your dog out for a walk or to an off-leash nearby dog park so your dog can get out and relieve some stress and anxiety with some exercise and socialization. You dog will have a good experience as my dog Sophie does. Your dog will not regret being with me and your dog will be returned home as happy as my dog Sophie is. I will also, be available to help you out if you get jammed up at work or an event and, if given some notice, I will drop by and let your dog out to take care of business, get's some attention and make sure your dog has adequate water or food as needed. Cats, being more independent, don't require the attention as dogs do. I love cats, I have owned and raised two Siamese cats, brothers, for sixteen years and I bond well with cats. I am also available to make one or two fifteen minute visits each day to visit your cat(s) and give them a scratching and some attention. I will make sure they have water and food and clean up their litter box or empty it if needed. |
